The Treasury Gardens, located at the corner of Spring Street and Wellington Parade, are famous for their grassy, shady slopes and proximity to Melbourne's CBD.

The iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) dates back to 1853 and hosts numerous football and cricket matches, including the AFL Football Grand Final. The MCG has also served as the main arena for significant international sporting events like the 1956 Olympic Games and the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
